non-political, non-sectarian membership organization that was
founded in 1933 to research and educate the public about an
alternative way of organizing society around scientific and
engineering methodologies to alleviate the economic,
ecological and social problems that the current system
perpetuates.

Technocracy is not government bureaucrats who use technology, nor is it a technological police state, nor is it misusing technology to further corporate profits, nor is it a shadowy villian in a role-playing game.
